Since the “conclave” of May 2025, we have a new alleged pope: “Leo XIV”. Is he a real pope after Benedict’s invalid resignation twelve years ago? I personally don’t think so.
I had some hopes in the beginning that maybe, just maybe we could get an actual pope, trying to rationalize away the problems.
The rules laid down for conclaves by John Paul II in Universi Dominici Gregis have not been followed, because Cardinals appointed by Bergoglio have been included in the process. The Divine Providence has given us another visible sign that the “conclave” is invalid: the number of electors has been 133, also in clear violation of Universi Dominici Gregis, which states that the number of electors cannot be higher than 120.
For reference:
“The right to elect the Roman Pontiff belongs exclusively to the Cardinals of Holy Roman Church, with the exception of those who have reached their eightieth birthday before the day of the Roman Pontiff’s death or the day when the Apostolic See becomes vacant. The maximum number of Cardinal electors must not exceed one hundred and twenty. The right of active election by any other ecclesiastical dignitary or the intervention of any lay power of whatsoever grade or order is absolutely excluded.” (UDG 33)
Then we had another sign. When Prevost appeared on the balcony, he said: “we want to be a synodal Church”. In another words, he pledged his allegiance to the fake “synodal” church in his very first appearance.
The next day, people found out that that Prevost ordered during in 2020 during the c-virus, that confessions can be heard “via cellphone” (“a través de celular”) in the Diocese of Chiclayo. It is not clear what exactly he meant by this, but according to this Facebook post, it meant that the penitent would go to the confessional and write his sins in Whatsapp messages to the priest. How is this anything else than sacrilege? How can anyone who approves of something like this be the pope?
And now, the “good” “conservative” Cardinals Burke and Sarah are welcoming “Leo XIV”. I’m sure they would have said the same thing no matter who was elected. I can’t wait for Cardinal Burke to begin the same circus after Antipope Prevost has published his first heresy and then we can wait for Godot… I mean for the “fraternal correction”. And Bishop Schneider can say again that there is nothing we can do and we just need for “Pope Leo” to die. He is 69, so that can take a while…
It is my personal opinion that God has hardened the hearts of our Cardinals, bishops and most likely, priests. Years passed by while they did nothing at all.
So, what will happen next? I don’t have a clue. But I do resolve to stay in the one holy faith even in this greatest crisis in the history of the Church.
Pope Saint Pius V, pray for us!
