Now that Antipope Bergoglio has been released from hospital, we can take a look back at the last twelve years of his “pontificate”.
As Catholics, we need to face the facts after 9 years of “Amoris laetitia”, 6 years after Pachamama, 2 years after “Fiducia supplicans” and five months after the “Synod on Synodality”. There is no resistance. If there would be, they would have spoken publicly long ago. The 3-4 bishops and maybe a couple hundred or thousand priests world-wide who have spoken out are a minute percentage of the 3000 bishops and 400000 priests.
It isn’t relevant whether the motivations of the priests and bishops for keeping silent are diabolical disorientation, blackmail, fear of losing their jobs or something else. Waiting for the cardinals to step up while remaining passive, knowing the truth, can’t be an option for the lay faithful.
What can regular lay faithful do? For example, they could do things just like I do with this website. Inform other people. Say the truth whenever it is necessary and always refer to “Pope Francis” as “Antipope Francis” or “Antipope Bergoglio”.
The second very important thing that the faithful could do is to prepare for the time when faithful priests will be expelled from their parishes and will be willing to offer Masses in private homes. The faithful could keep missals (Traditional Latin Mass missals too), hymnals, blessed candles, and other liturgical objects ready at home.
In my opinion, only direct divine intervention can save the Catholic Church, and as history has taught us, divine interventions like this often go along with collective punishment, so there could potentially be some rough times ahead.
Let us pray to God fervently to grant us another holy pope, who can start working to clean up this mess.
